Hyderabad: Caretaker minister K.T. Rama Rao canvassed for support among Seemandhra voters in the city, and used the occasion to launched a bitter attack on UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi for her speech in Medchal which was critical of the TRS government.
He said the Telangana Congress leaders had forced Mrs Gandhi to speak blatant lies at the public meeting.
Stating that Mrs Gandhi had just read from a script provided by TS leaders, he said that Ms Gandhi who was ill had kept away from politics for quite some time and was unaware of the development in the state.
He said Mrs Gandhi, who claimed to be mother of Telangana, was not worried about people of the state, rather it was for giving birth to a child like Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
He said that any mother would be worried if his son did not win a municipality in his own constituency (Amethi).
