BRS kicks off assembly election campaign, targets BJP
Adilabad: The ruling BRS on Tuesday kicked off its campaign for the Assembly elections by holding Assembly level meetings. This would be followed by mandal and village-level meetings, at which the failures of the BJP government at the Centre would be highlighted.
BRS leaders launched a selfie-campaign that read, ‘I stand with BRS and KCR and local MLA’. People, especially the youths who attended the meetings, took selfies with the leaders.
Curiously, the BRS leaders are ignoring the Congress in their speeches that solely target the BJP.
The leaders tried to send a message across to the people about the welfare and development works the BRS government has done, by citing the figures of the last nine years in their respective assembly constituencies.
The leaders introduced 18 resolutions on subjects like health, education, tribals, Dalits, women, and Minority welfare etc and unanimously passed them.
