KCR 720-vehicle convoy stretches to 6 km

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao left for Maharashtra for a two-day visit, as part of efforts to strengthen the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the neighbouring state.

With a convoy of over 720 vehicles, KCR left for Maharashtra along with his Cabinet colleagues and other top party leaders. The convoy reportedly stretched over six kilometres, a statement from the CMO said.

In Maharashtra, the BRS launched a membership drive and KCR planned to interact with people and BRS functionaries en route.

NCP leader Bhagirath Bhalke was among those expected to join BRS during KCR’s trip to Maharashtra. On Tuesday, KCR is also scheduled to visit Lord Vithoba Temple in the Solapur district. He also has plans to visit Tuljapur and offered prayers to the goddess there before returning to Hyderabad.

In the past, KCR addressed four rallies in Maharashtra’s Nanded, Aurangabad, and Nagpur. On June 15, he also inaugurated BRS’s first office at Nagpur in Maharashtra.
