VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam (TD) senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu claimed on Sunday that a silent revolution has been going on in AP to oust Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy from power due to corruption and lack of development works in the state.
Ramakrishnudu said that a coup-like situation, similar to the recent one in Russia, is inevitable in AP as groups created by Jagan are revolting against the YSRC government. The kidnapping of YSRC MP’s family member in Vizag is a testimony to this fact.
The TD leader alleged that the Chief Minister cancelled 83 welfare schemes meant for BCs, SCs, STs and minorities in past four years. He explained that 27 schemes of BCs, 29 of SCs, 17 of STs and 10 of minorities have been cancelled.
Alleging that these communities were victims of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s policies, Ramakrishnudu said that a ‘silent revolution’ prevailed in the state and the people are deeply dissatisfied with the government.
People are not afraid of false cases, they are waiting for the coming elections to express their anger against the government, the leader stated. He claimed that all the steps taken by Jagan Mohan Reddy were anti-people, including atrocities, demolitions, suppressions, lodging of false cases and illegal arrests, and these have fuelled this silent revolution.
Ramakrishnudu alleged that in four years, public money has been looted and there is a race between Jagan and YSRC MLAs to become the most corrupt leader. He commented that every ministry followed this mantra “Rob, share, eat” (Jagan Dochuko, Panchuko and Tinuko).
