BRS, MIM, Congress Part of Triangular Love Story: Kishan

HYDERABAD: The moving of the no confidence motion in the Parliament by Congress, BRS and AIMIM parties has exposed “a triangular love story in Telangana” between these parties, which have been “together in the past, are together now, and will be together in future too,” Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said on Wednesday.

Calling the no-confidence motion a “Delhi drama that should make it clear to the people the agenda of the opposition parties,” Kishan Reddy said people in Telangana.

On AIMIM president and Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi signing the no-confidence motion submitted by the BRS party, “it is not surprising that MIM has signed on the motion submitted by BRS party. The MIM claims it controls the steering, accelerator and brakes of the BRS government’s car,” Kishan Reddy said.

“MIM is a tail party, this is like the tail wagging the animal,” he said. “It is only the BJP which never allied with these three parties and people have realized now that only the BJP can provide an honest, transparent and effective governance in Telangana under Modi’s overall leadership,” he added.

The Modi government is ready to discuss law and order situation in the country, he said, adding the government is ready to discuss how the situation was during the UPA rule too including the number of incidents related to terrorism, communal clashes, curfews, how much RDX was found and how many train blasts occurred and how many lives were lost.

“The opposition is not ready to discuss and so finally, they came up with the no-confidence motion idea,” he said.

BJP national vice-president DK Aruna, meanwhile, said that the Congress and BRS parties have yet again demonstrated by seeking to move no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government that all they indulge is ‘Delhi mein dosti, galli me kushti’.

In a statement, Aruna said the coordinated action by the two opposition parties shows that “Congress and BRS are one and the same, and they work together. Only to cover up their own failures do they separately throw mud at the BJP. Their history proves that they are inseparable and will be together in future too.”

Meanwhile, former state BJP president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar took aim at the two opposition parties, and the AIMIM, saying “friendship day has come early” for the parties.

Taking to Twitter, Sanjay said, “BRS+Congress+AIMIM want to celebrate Friendship Day 10 days in advance at Parliament by moving no confidence motion.” He said Modi had, way back in 2019, predicted a no confidence motion against him in 2023. “The opposition will be defeated,” Sanjay said.
