Naidu responsible for Kuppam ruckus, alleges YSRC
VIJAYAWADA: Government adviser (public affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna on Thursday held opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu responsible for the clashes in Kuppam.
He told the media here that TDP activists went into an overdrive during Naidu’s visit to Kuppam and tried to remove the YSRC flags that already existed in the village.
“Chandrababu was the first accused in the Kuppam clashes. He tried to disturb the peaceful atmosphere. The opposition has crossed the line. Naidu intentionally incited the people and provoked them for political gains. He should be ashamed of opening his party office there now, after 30 years of being an MLA representing the Kuppam constituency,” Ramakrishna said.
He said the opposition was unable to digest good governance and was trying to mislead the public.
Terming the TD cadre’s attacks a deliberate attempt by Chandrababu to regain the Kuppam people’s faith, Ramakrishna said the people have already rejected TD in local body polls from panchayats to municipalities. “The people of Kuppam have seen development after the Jagan government came to power and Naidu has gone into depression after witnessing the overwhelming support from the public to the YSRCP,” he said.
Ramakrishna flayed Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan over his comments on making Andhra Pradesh free from YSRC. “Everyone knows that Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are working together and want to remove all the existing welfare schemes. But, the people are with the YSRC,” he added.
