Nellore: TD spokesperson Votturu Sampath Raju condemned the YSR Congress men for their attempt to attack on Anna Canteen at Kuppam constituency which party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu was to open.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, Sampath Raju said people of the state would teach a lesson to the ruling party leaders at an appropriate time.
He rebuked the police for their inaction while reminding that Chandrababu Naidu was elected from Kuppam 7 times and ruled the state for 14 years and he was opposition leader for 13 years with Z+ category security.
Stressing that Chandrababu Naidu had every right to tour in the constituency as the representative of people, Sampath Raju said the attempt to attack him is an indicator for YSRC’s attitude.
He said the ruling party is becoming restless because of antipathy among people. “TD knows how to protect itself and the people of the state from the clutches of the ruling party,” Sampath Raju asserted.
