KTR Takes Winning Khanapur as Prestige, Urges Ticket Aspirants to Back Johnson Naik
ADILABAD: IT minister K.T. Rama Rao is reportedly making all-out efforts to ensure the victory of his close friend, Bhukya Johnson Rathod Naik, in the Khanapur Assembly constituency in the upcoming elections.
Rama Rao has been in the United States, but he has been monitoring the political situation in Telangana closely. He has reportedly been calling senior BRS leaders and also candidates who aspired for the Khanapur ticket, in an attempt to persuade them to extend their support to Naik.
The incumbent MLA from Khanapur, Rekha Naik, has also been critical of the BRS for denying her a ticket.
Naik has already started his campaign in the Khanapur constituency. He has been meeting with the people and seeking their support. He has also been meeting with the other party leaders who aspired for the BRS ticket, in an attempt to win their support.
Rekha Naik has alleged that Johnson Naik's friend, who is a senior BRS leader, played a role in the party denying her a ticket. She has also alleged that there was a conspiracy against her in the party to help Naik.
