Delhi Excise Policy: ED Won't Summon Kavitha Till November 20 Hearing
In a huge relief to BRS MLC and Telangana CM KCR's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the hearing on the petition filed by Kavitha in the Delhi Liquor case was adjourned.
A bench comprising Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia stated that the petition will be heard on November 20. It was said that they had to listen to detailed arguments in this regard. Besides, the ED was also directed not to summon Kavitha for questioning.
The ED was informed that until the Supreme Court hears the petition of Kavitha on November 20, she need not be summoned in the Delhi Excise Policy case. As a result, Kavitha does not have to attend the ED inquiry in the Delhi liquor scam till November 20.
Meanwhile, the schedule for Telangana Assembly elections is expected to be out in a few days. It is known that Kavitha has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the summons issued to her by the ED to appear in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.
