BC welfare minister lashes out Nijam Gelavali' yatra

Kakinada: BC welfare minister Ch. Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna lashed out at the programme “Nijam Gelavali (Truth should prevail)” taken up by Nara Bhuvaneswari, spouse of imprisoned former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to media on Wednesday, he maintained that during the rule of Telugu Desam, “Nijam’ (Truth)” never prevailed, as Chandrababu Naidu cheated people with false promises.

Gopalakrishna pointed out that the original “Nijam Gelavali” programme had been launched by Telugu Desam founder late N.T. Rama Rao against Chandrababu Naidu for unseating him.

He asked Bhuvaneswari whether she supported her father NTR when her husband Chandrababu had backstabbed him.

The minister maintained that Chandrababu has always been cheating. He is now conspiring to cheat people by joining hands with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for coming to power.

He maintained that the bus yatra taken up by ruling YSRC will explain to people how Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has socially empowered people.
