Hyderabad: Goshamahal legislator T. Raja Singh hit out against the ‘biased’ police personnel, who, he alleged, were harassing his cadre and filing bind over cases against them, who were not having any serious cases.
In a video message to the media, he said, “From the time I started my campaign from the Dattatreya division, our cadre has been getting calls from the police task force and police stations. I wonder why bind over cases are being foisted against them. They only had petty cases against them earlier. The BRS seems to be under the mistaken notion of wresting this seat from me.”
Taking a further dig at the authorities, he said: “My only request is that you fight like men and not by threatening our cadre. They cannot be browbeaten and threatened. There are many Section 307 and murder cases against BRS and Congress cadre but they are not being bound over. Why is my cadre being singled out?”
