BRS has looted public money, says Bhupesh Baghel

Karimnagar: Ruling BRS in Telangana, though given power by people for two terms, has deceived people and looted their money, charged Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

Addressing people as part of the Praja Deevena Yatra in support of Congress candidates Naini Rajendar Reddy in Warangal West and Purumalla Srinivas in Karimnagar assembly constituencies on Sunday, Bhupesh Baghel accused Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of betraying all sections of people, including tribals, Adivasi and weaker sections.

He said Chandrasekhar Rao had made many promises, which include distribution of three acres of land to poor Dalit families and double bedroom houses to shelter-less poor families. But he did not fulfil any of them.

He underlined that even after the formation of a separate Telangana state, development in tri-cities of Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet is lagging behind.

The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister said before going for elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to people of the country that he will bring back black money and deposit that amount into their bank accounts. Modi further said he will provide two crore jobs every year. But after becoming the PM, Modi has kept neither of the promises. He went on to impose GST on everything, increasing the burden on poor and middle-class families, he added.

Theenmar Mallanna, who accompanied Bhupesh Baghel, said when KCR visited Warangal district in the past, he promised that he would transform it into a world class city. But by splitting it into six districts, he had spoiled the image of the historic district.
