CM Jagan constructing 10 fishing harbours, Pawan doing political shows: Perni Nani
Vijayawada: YSRC legislator and former minister Perni Venkataramaiah has said the YSRC government was constructing 10 fishing harbours in the state but the coalition government of Telugu Desam and Jana Sena did nothing.
“TD and JS never worked for the welfare of fishermen and never constructed a single harbour,” he said.
The former minister said Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was doing ‘shows’ for Chandrababu Naidu and leveling baseless allegations against the Jagan-led government.
Addressing the media on Saturday, he said, “Before Pawan Kalyan woke up in the morning, Jagan Mohan Reddy disbursed Rs 7.11 crore to the victims of fishermen who lost their boats in the fire accident in Visakhapatnam.
“Pawan Kalyan has posed for photos by giving Rs 50,000 to the victims,” he said.
The MLA asked 10 questions to Pawan Kalyan regarding wasteful expenditure during the term of the TD government. Pawan Kalyan never questioned Naidu about these wasteful expenditures, he said.
For instance, he said, “During the TD government, Chandrababu spent Rs 7 crore for the H Block in Hyderabad Secretariat. “Naidu spent Rs 10 crore to set up a camp office in Lake View, Rs 10 crore for chairs in his office, Rs 5crore for Naidu’s farm house in Medinaguda, Rs 60 crore for Naidu’s own house, Rs 6 crore for a special AC bus, another Rs 75 crore for conversion of an irrigation office into the CM Camp Office at Vijayawada and Rs 200 crore to build roads and sheds around Lingamaneni Guest House on the banks of Krishna river and Rs 7.5 crore for fixing bulletproof glasses to that guest house,” the MLA alleged.
