HYDERABAD: Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Rao said that they had not received a reply from BRS working president and minister K.T. Rama Rao to the Election Commission of India (ECI) notice seeking an explanation for using a government facility when the model code of conduct. The deadline was 3 pm on Sunday.
Raj said he did not know if Rama Rao had sent the explanation to the ECI. Rama Rao had conducted a meeting at T-works, a government premises, on November 26.
He said that more than 1,000 cases were registered for violating the model code of conduct by political parties.
