Puducherry: TTV Dhinakaran's 21 MLAs shifted to new resort
Puducherry: More legislators supporting ousted AIADMK deputy general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran joined the camp in Puducherry. Nineteen legislators staying in Windflower resort and spa at Chinnapveeranpattinam here since August 22 moved to the Sunway Manor hotel in Puducherry on Friday.
As Aranthangi MLA Rathina Sabapathy and Vridhachalam MLA Kalaiselvan joined the camp on Saturday, the strength of Dhinakaran camp went up to 21.
The management of Windflower resort asked the legislators to vacate their rooms after three days citing that the hotels has online bookings by other customers, though the legislators requested to extend their booking. Though Sunway Manor’s management too initially refused to accommodate them, AIADMK legislator Bhaskar intervened and ensured that they were taken in. Andipatti MLA Thanga Tamilselvan made it clear that they will leave Puducherry after discussions with Dhinakaran.
On the other hand, officials of the Central Intelligence Bureau also reached Puducherry to know whether any horse trading is going on.
