CMO and BRS Shift Focus to Kamareddy
NIZAMABAD: The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is concentrating on Kamareddy Assembly constituency, from where Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has decided to contest the Assembly elections. Officials from CMO and BRS top brass are in touch with the party’s key leaders, sympathisers and others to get feedback regarding various issues.
Reportedly, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha spoke to party leaders in Kamareddy district and took stock of the issues pertaining to the constituency. TS Food Commission chairman Tirumal Reddy of Kamareddy recently met Chandrashekar Rao and brought the local issues to his notice.
The Bhimeshwara project across Bheemeshwara vagu in Tadwai mandal came to the notice of CMO. Former Medak MP Ale Narendra had taken out a padayatra in Kamareddy district for construction of the Bheemeshwara project, which was set aside as it was ‘technically not-viable’. It came to the fore during the construction of Kaleshwaram project.
Locals hope that Rao will pay attention to the Bheemeshwara project, which would help irrigate lands in Kamareddy and Yellareddy Assembly constituencies.
