Preserve 'guarantee cards', claim 'six benefits' in 100 days: Congress appeals to TS
HYDERABAD: The Congress in Telangana state has urged people to keep their 'guarantee cards' for three months to avail of the benefits of the 'six guarantees' promised by the party for the upcoming Assembly polls. The Congress has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the guarantees within 100 days of coming to power in the state.
To facilitate the distribution of guarantee cards to every household in each Assembly constituency, the Congress has established a 'war room' at Gandhi Bhavan. The inauguration of the war room was attended by AICC Telangana state affairs incharge Manikrao Thakre and CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the party's high command had carefully calculated the funds required to fulfil these promises and devised strategies to mobilise the necessary resources. He dismissed criticism from BRS and BJP leaders who deemed the Congress guarantees as "unfeasible”.
Bhatti Vikramarka pointed to the party's successful implementation of five guarantees in Karnataka following their victory in recent Assembly polls. He challenged leaders like KCR, KTR, Harish, and Kavitha to visit Karnataka and witness firsthand how the Congress government has delivered on these promises.
He encouraged people to provide their details to party workers during the distribution of guarantee cards. After the Congress assumes power, individuals can use their guarantee cards to access the 'six guarantees' within 100 days.
He also criticised AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi for his comments about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that Asaduddin's criticism benefits the BJP.
