Andhra Pradesh Aims for Inclusivity, says Jagan
Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has told the party leaders in Tadepalle to explain clearly to the people about the social justice being implemented by the YSRC government during the Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra across the state.
“The priority given to my SC, ST, BC and minority communities in the YSRC government is unprecedented not only in the history of AP but also in the history of this country,” he said.
“All of you should unite and publicise the promotion of social justice cause by our government, through the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra (social empowerment campaign) and paths should be laid for the emancipation of the poor,” the Chief Minister said.
He said, “Our government has ensured progress for the SC, ST, BC and Minorities in economic, social and political fields as a right. In a period of 53 months, Rs 2.38 lakh crore was offered to them through DBT. Note that 75 per cent of the Rs 2.38 lakh crore DBTs goes to these categories.”
“We are also glad that this government has given 50 per cent of the nominated posts to these groups. We did not step back from this endeavour even when those with power and bigoted tendencies obstructed us at every step.”
“The war between the rich and the poor is going to take place here in the coming days.”
The Chief Minister asked his ministers, legislators and party leaders to explain to people about the promotion of social justice cause in AP by the YSRC government, during the Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra.
The leaders of the YSRC said the state government under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy has the courage and confidence to go to the people and tell them about the work done by it for them during its four-and-a-half years in power.
On Thursday evening, YSRC leaders addressed a public meeting during the bus yatra at Annabatuni Puravedikaku in Tenali Market Centre. Housing minister Jogi Ramesh said, ”Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a courageous leader who did social empowerment in the past four-and-a-half years and the YSRC is a party of all communities.”
He pointed out that 17 out of the 25 minister posts have been given to BC, SC, ST and minorities. “Jagan is a kind-hearted person who distributed Rs 2.31 lakh crore to the poor,” he said.
Ramesh said, “Bhuvaneswaramma should know truth has won, so Chandrababu went to jail. Let us tell the truth about how Naidu earned two lakh crores with two acres, he said, and asked Bhuvaneswari, “Tell me how Naidu used Harikrishna and Tarakaratna.”
He said even if Chandrababu, Dattaputra (Pawan Kalyan) and Uttaputrudu (Nara Lokesh) came together, they can't do anything on Jagan Mohan Reddy. Note down that we are going to win 175 of the 175 seats in the upcoming elections. We should all protect Jagan Mohan Reddy as our leader for another term.”
MLC Potula Sunitha said, “Jagan Mohan Reddy is working hard to meet the aspirations of Jyothirao Phule, B.R. Ambedkar and YSR. In 40 years of politics, Chandrababu has not done anything for the poor. After being caught in the skill development scam, Babu landed in jail.”
She asked a direct question to Bhuvaneswari. “Why couldn't you talk if your father was stabbed in the back? Please don't use people for your evil politics.”
Municipal administration minister Adimulapu Suresh said there have been many struggles in the past for social empowerment but CM Jagan Mohan Reddy did good to the BC, SC and ST communities without any movements and struggles. We should all stand up like soldiers for Jagananna.”
MLC and Guntur district YSRC chief Dokka Manikya Varaprasad said the welfare programmes initiated by Jagan Mohan Reddy were unique. “These are not being implemented in any other state.”
“No CM other than Jagan Mohan Reddy did good to the BCs. It takes courage to go on a bus trip to the people and tell them what we have done in four and a half years.”
Former MP Butta Renuka, MLAs Kolusu Parthasarathy, Hafiz Khan, Annabathuni Sivakumar, Md Mustafa and Kilaru Roshaiah, Rajya Sabha member Ayodhyarami Reddy, MLC Marri Rajasekhar and other leaders addressed the public meeting and participated in the bus yatra.
