TRS downfall has started in Telangana: Etala
WARANGAL: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has realised that the downfall of the TRS has begun with even the people of the state going against its government. This is the reason he is indulging in cheap politics, said Huzurabad MLA Etala Rajendar.
He was speaking at the BJP district executive meeting, chaired by the district unit president G. Krishna Reddy, here on Sunday.
Rajendar said that Rao was deliberately spreading false propaganda that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre was discriminating against Telangana state and holding back employment guarantee scheme (EGS) funds to the state. He said that, on the contrary, it was with Central funds that developmental works were progressing in all the village panchayats in the state.
Rao, who promised Bangaru Telangana, has driven the surplus state into a debt-trap. He now wishes to ‘transform’ the country into a Bangaru Bharat, which is ridiculous, Rajendar said.
After several surveys indicated an upsurge of BJP in Telangana, Rao is provoking his party leaders to physically attack BJP leaders and foist false cases against them, he said.
He appealed to the party cadre and leaders not to be frightened of TRS leaders as the BJP central leadership is ready to support them in fighting against the TRS government regarding various people's issues.
Party leaders N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, B. Shoba, K. Ramgopal Reddy, K. Shivarama Krishnaiah, B. Praveen Rao, T. Srinivas Goud, K. Vasudeva Reddy, B. Lakshminarayana, D. Shankar and G. Ramesh were present at the meeting.
