Kadapa magistrate extends judicial custody of B.Tech Ravi for 14 days
Anantapur: The Kadapa Magistrate Court extended the judicial custody of Pulivendula TD incharge B.Tech Ravi for another 14 days. Ravi was arrested in November for allegedly attacking police during Nara Lokesh's visit to Kadapa airport in January.
A case was registered against Ravi based on a complaint by an assistant sub-inspector. He was detained at Vallur and arrested on November 14, and his bail plea was subsequently rejected.
On Monday, the police produced Ravi before the court from Kadapa Central Prison, where he is currently being held. The court extended his judicial custody for another 14 days.
A large number of TD cadres gathered at the court premises to meet Ravi, who was also visited by his family members. Following the court's decision, Ravi was shifted back to Kadapa Central Prison.
