HYDERABAD: Former GHMC mayor and BJP leader Banda Karthika Reddy received a tremendous boost with Prime Minister Narendra Modi following her on Twitter.
Karthika Reddy had joined the party with the support of Union minister G. Kishan Reddy is being constantly encouraged by state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay. She said it was an honour for her and for women leaders in the party that Prime Minister Modi followed her on Twitter.
Karthika Reddy became one of the few Telugu politicians and celebrities that Modi follows on Twitter, a platform that he widely uses to engage with the people.
Thanking Modi for following her, she said it was a dream come true for a young politician like her and she would live up to the expectations of the Prime Minister and the party.
