HYDERABAD: A BJP MPTC, Shoba, has alleged that she was assaulted by women BRS members at the Medchal Collectorate on Saturday. The incident took place in the presence of Minister Ch Malla Reddy and Medchal Collector.
Shoba, who is an MPTC from Avushapur, had gone to the Collectorate to meet the minister and discuss the arrangements for Telangana formation Dasabdi celebrations. When the minister was explaining the arrangements, Shoba went to the dais and raised her voice about the farmers' issues.
This led to an argument between Shoba and the BRS party leaders. Irate over the incident, the BRS party MPTC members pulled out Shoba of the conference hall.
