Mega plans for PM's Nizamabad meet
Nizamabad: The BJP is planning to mobilise two lakh people for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public meeting in Nizamabad on October 3. This would be Narendra Modi’s second visit to Nizamabad. He visited the city for the first time during the 2014 general elections.
BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy visited Nizamabad on Tuesday and interacted with party leaders on arrangements to be made for the public meeting at Government Giriraj Degree college grounds in Nizamabad.
He directed the party leaders and in-charges to coordinate and work for making the meeting a grand success. Leaders from Nizamabad urban, Nizamabad rural, Armoor, Balkonda, Bodhan, Banswada, Jukkal, Yellareddy, Kamareddy, Korutla, Jagtial, Nirmal and Mudhole Assembly constituencies attended the meeting.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, BJP state general secretary G. Premender Reddy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national leadership are committed to the development of Telangana state. During the Prime Minister's visit to Mahabubnagar on October 1 and Nizamabad on October 3, he is expected to announce developmental activities. “We are hopeful that the Modi meeting will be a game changer in Telangana politics,” he said.
Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind became instrumental in finalising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting in Nizamabad. BJP scores believed that Modi will give a clarity on Turmeric Board and other key issues that concern northern districts of Telangana.
