KTR asks NRIs to Join Hands with KCR to Secure More Seats in TS

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday called upon the NRIs who had worked with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao during separate Telangana agitation to join hands with the BRS to secure more seats in the Assembly elections.

In a video conference with NRIs settled in different countries, Rama Rao explained the political situation in the state and asked them to spread word in their native places about the development that had taken place in nine years of the Chandrasekhar Rao government.

"The NRIs have studied hard, excelled in business and commerce and settled abroad. They are highly respected in the villages. If they prefer a leader who can protect the interests of Telangana, the voters here will listen,” Rama Rao explained.

“The next 30 days are very crucial for Telangana. The Congress had merged Telangana with Andhra Pradesh for 60 years and the region had suffered many hardships. Development will go back for 50 years if the Congress comes to power once" he said.

Asking the NRIs to campaign by social media platform, Rama Rao asked them to sensitise the people in the form of videos and posts explaining the past hardships of Telangana and the progress achieved by the BRS government. He asked the NRIs to be more active on social media and explain the need and necessity of the BRS winning the elections again.
