Speaker hails Jagan for developing rural areas
Visakhapatnam: AP speaker Tammineni Sitaram hailed Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as a leader who developed the state by creating infrastructure in rural areas.
He spoke after inaugurating a gram secretariat building built at a cost of ₹40 lakh in Gokarnapalli village. He also participated in several other development programmes in the area.
At Ranganathpeta, Sitaram laid the foundation stone for a water tank being constructed at an expenditure of ₹65 lakh. He threw open a newly constructed bitumen road from Kavali R&B to Latchayyapeta via Munsibpeta. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank extended ₹2.65 crore for building the road.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said steps have been taken to build roads to all villages in the constituency. He appreciated CM Jagan for implementing 99 per cent of the promises made in the 2019 YSRC manifesto.
MPP Killi Usha Rani, ZPTC Lolugu Kantha Rao and mandal party president Pappala Ramesh Kumar were among those present at the programme.
