Hyderabad: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday appointed Nalgonda MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy as the party’s Andhra Pradesh observer for its ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan', which will be held from January 26.
Besides Uttam Kumar Reddy, a former TPCC president, 25 other observers were appointed by the AICC for the planning and implementation of the campaign which is being seen as the initiative of party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi.
Girish Chodankar, the former Goa Congress president, was appointed the observer for Telangana.
Former Rajya Sabha member V. Hanumantha Rao was appointed observer for Puducherry, while AP Congress leader and former Union minister M.M. Pallam Raju will oversee the programme in Maharashtra.
