Kottayam: The state government should exert pressure on the Central government for the uplift of rubber farmers in the state, Kerala Congress (M) chairman K.M. Mani said on Wednesday. He was inaugurating a dharna organised by the farmers in front of the Rubber Board office.
Mr Mani assured his party's support to the state government in this regard. KC(M) district president Sunny Thekkedam and Youth Front (M) state president Saji Manjakadambil were present.
