BRS hits back at Congress, BJP over TSPSC issue

Hyderabad: BRS MLA K.P. Vivekananda lashed out at Congress and BJP leaders for levelling baseless allegations against IT minister K.T. Rama Rao and officials in the TSPSC paper leakage case.

Speaking to the media at BRS Legislature Party office here on Tuesday, he ridiculed TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy's demand for an Enforcement Directorate probe into the issue, at a time when the Congress had moved the Supreme Court against the ED and had accused it of becoming a tool in the hands of the BJP to target its political rivals.

"Both Revanth and Sanjay are indulging in mudslinging. They are making baseless allegations against KTR just to garner cheap publicity. KTR released official statistics on Group-I exam from his Sircilla constituency as well as Jagtial district to prove that there were no irregularities in the exam as claimed by Revanth and Sanjay," Vivekanand said.

After realising that there was no evidence against Rama Rao, Revanth Reddy was now targeting officials in the TSPSC and police officials in the special investigation team by branding them as "Andhra officers," the BRS MLA said.
