BJP demands ACB inquiry against BRS MLAs for corruption
HYDERABAD: BJP state general secretary G. Premender Reddy lodged a complaint with the Director General of the Anti Corruption Bureau based on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao statement about BRS MLAs being involved in corruption.
In a letter written to the ACB, Premender said that Chandrasekhar Rao, while addressing the BRS plenary at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, had stated that he had a list of MLAs who were extorting up to Rs 3 lakh each from Dalit Bandhu and 2BHK housing scheme beneficiaries.
Stating that it was a matter of grave concern as the Chief Minister himself had made a statement about the involvement of BRS MLAs in corruption in the flagship schemes of the government involving public money, Premender Reddy urged the ACB to take up an investigation in the matter.
