Buggana asks why Naidu did not solve Kuppam water problem
KURNOOL: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy accused Telugu Desam Party of deceiving farmers in 2014 with promises of farm loan waiver and interest exemption for DWCRA women.
Countering criticism of YSRC government by TDP leader Nara Lokesh, Buggana asked what TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu had done despite being the chief minister of AP for 14 years and leader of opposition for five years.
“During this time, Naidu has been the Kuppam MLA for five terms. Why did he not solve the drinking water problem in the Kuppam assembly constituency,” he asked.
Participating in the Gadapa Gadapaku Manaprabhutvam programme at Middepalli village in Dhone, the minister highlighted upcoming developments in the area, including the 100-bed hospital as well as Integrated Driving Traffic Research Institute in Dhone. A BC Welfare Residential School is being constructed at a cost of ₹40 crore.
Additionally, the Peapully market, renowned in the combined Kurnool district, is being provided state-of-the-art facilities at a cost of ₹50 crore, he pointed out.
Those who attended the Gadapa Gadapaku programme included State Meat Development Corporation chairman Sriramulu, Dhone municipal chairman S. Rajasekhar, mandal parishad president R. Rajasekhar Reddy, ZPTC member B. Rajkumar and RDO Venkat Reddy.
