Bengaluru: Founder president of Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP), Mr Padmanabha Prasanna, who had convened a press meet to announce that former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and former minister Shobha Karandlaje had got married in a temple in Kerala in a secret wedding ceremony, was in for a rude shock as unidentified persons poured a chemical mixture on him.
As soon as Mr Padmanabha started addressing the media, a few unidentified persons approached him and poured a chemical mixture all over his body which was carried to the spot in two big jars. The unidentified miscreants before fleeing the scene, warned Mr Padmanabha to have respect for women and criticized his allegation made against Shobha Karandlaje. They were even heard shouting slogans, 'Bharata Rakshana Vedike ke jai".
"Mr Yeddyurappa is trying to target me fearing that I will expose his secret wedding with Ms Shobha Karandlaje. Mr Yeddyurappa had promised to build a dining hall for the temple after the marriage. As promised, he has built the dining hall in the Bhagavati Amma Temple in Kerala where they got married" alleged Mr Padmanabha.
