SANGAREDDY: AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that BJP and its ‘B’ team BRS were working together for their self benefits. Congress party will always work for the welfare of people and it made India self-reliant, he said. There is no address of BJP or BRS in Indian Independence struggle and they pointed out what Congress did for the last 70 years, he said.
As part of the second phase of Congress Vijayabheri bus yatra, Mr Kharge addressed a public meeting in Sangareddy on Sunday. He came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. AICC president termed Modi as ‘Joota and Dokha Baaje’. The PM assured to provide 2 crore jobs every year and Rs 15 lakh will be deposited in citizens bank accounts, but in vain, he said.
There are 30 lakh vacancies in banking, insurance and railways, but the BJP government filled up merely 25,000 jobs, he said. Earlier, clerks or under secretaries sent the appointment orders to the newly recruited youths, he said. No Prime Minister distributed appointment orders to the youths as Modi did it as a ‘show’, he said.
TPCC president A.Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC Telangana in-charge Manikrao Thakare, Sangareddy MLA T.Jayaprakash ‘Jagga’ Reddy and others were present.
