BJP daydreaming of coming to power in TS: Sunil
Warangal: Karimnagar mayor Y. Sunil Rao accused the BJP of hatching conspiracies and daydreaming of coming to power in Telangana state. Speaking to media in Karimnagar on Monday, the TRS leader alleged that instead of allocating funds meant for Telangana state the BJP-led Central government was creating hurdles in the development of the state, which is utilising its own resources to develop on all fronts.
Compared to other states, Telangana is witnessing development in all sectors. Not one BJP-ruled state is implementing welfare schemes like the TRS government. Even Union ministers also appreciated the Telangana government after learning about the various welfare schemes that are being implemented for various sections of the people, Sunil said.
“BJP leaders are struggling only for the sake of power. They are least bothered about the welfare of the people. Why did Bandi Sanjay (state BJP chief) not exert pressure on the Central government for fulfilling the poll promise of providing two crore employment opportunities to the unemployed youth,” he questioned.
“By privatising public sector undertakings, the BJP government is bringing employees on to the road. Instead of wasting time by going on padayatra, Sanjay must fight for the funds for Telangana,” the TRS leader added.
