Vijayawada West MLA Jaleel Khan warns Chandrababu Naidu on quota
Vijayawada: Vijayawada West MLA Jaleel Khan has warned the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu that Kapus had burnt only one train, but Muslims may go to any extent and burn many trains if they feel ignored.
He also warned that he would not spare any one, if differences are noticed. Commissioner of Police said no case had been booked against the lawmaker for the inflammatory comments.
While Mudragada Padmanabham is preparing for his padayatra, the comments of Mr Jaleel Khan, while addressing the gathering on May 26, on the occasion of YSR Congress workers joining the TD in Vijayawada, had added fire to fuel for reservations.
He indirectly told the CM that he isn’t scared of anyone and can do whatever he wants, even though he is not in power as an individual.
Mr Jaleel Khan, while speaking to this correspondent, said: “Muslims are not able to digest the fact that they are being ignored as there is no single minister from their community and no apt programme for their development.”
