Visakhapatnam: The deputy Chief Minister Budi Mutyala Naidu told the villagers of KG Puram in his home constituency of Madugula that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy sent him to solve their problems.
Interacting with the villagers as a part of Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam on Monday, Mutyala Naidu said that due to some reasons, a couple of beneficiaries did not get the welfare schemes, and all of them would be disbursed now. As part of it, Naidu gave house site pattas to eight women in Jagananna Layout who could not get them due to technical faults.
After he found garbage litter, he asked the panchayat secretary to clear it immediately and take measures to maintain cleanliness in the village streets and surroundings. He also asked the officials to solve the small issues raised by the villagers. The deputy Chief Minister distributed money to some poor people who were in need. He later participated in the ‘Simntam’ function for pregnant women and organised a feast for the women and children in the village.
“I am coming to your village with pride as we fulfilled 98 per cent of the promises made during elections,’’ Mutyala Naidu told the villagers.
He assured them that the government would solve every problem the people were facing to make them lead a normal life.
