Naidu doing opportunistic politics for power: Vellampalli
Vijayawada: Former minister and YSRC MLA Vellampalli Srinivas Rao accused Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu of playing opportunist politics with both BJP and Congress for coming back to power in AP.
“AP people will never give him that chance,” he underlined.
The former minister alleged that Chandrababu is taking help from BJP AP chief Daggubati Purandeswari to restore TD’s ties with BJP. For the purpose, the TD chief is chasing both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union home minister Amit Shah.
Srinivas Rao recalled that once when the PM came to AP, TD workers released black balloons. They attacked Amit Shah with stones and sandals. “Now, they are trying to re-form ties with BJP through Purandeswari,” he reiterated.
The MLA felt Chandrababu is the only one who can do such lousy politics. He maintained that the TDP chief has no courage to contest the forthcoming assembly alone. He maintained that in the past, Chandrababu could win only with the support of BJP.
The former minister underlined that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is talking about his alliance with the people, the TD chief is roaming around Delhi. “People of Andhra people will not trust Naidu and reject him in the 2024 elections,” he remarked.
