\'TD playing victim card despite diverting public money in Skill Development scam\'

Vijayawada: YSRC state general-secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has criticised the Telugu Desam leaders and its media friends for spreading falsehood, and termed TD leaders as thieves.

“Chandrababu Naidu is equal to one lakh Goebbels, who famously encouraged trading in lies and attempts to turn lies into truths,” he said.

Addressing the media here on Friday, Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that the TD leaders and their media were trying to divert the people's attention from the scams and trying to help Naidu gain the sympathy of the public.

“It is very ironic that the so-called intellectuals are also supporting the scamster,” he said.

Ramakrishna Reddy said, “Even after making a grave mistake of diverting the public money earmarked for the training of students and unemployed youths, the TD is playing the victim card.”

He said the skill scam was a tip of the ice-berg. “If the CID probes deep, they will find Amaravati as a bigger scam.”

Ramakrishna Reddy said thousands of crores were looted by TD leadership from the poor farmers by deceiving them in the Amaravati assigned lands scam.

“There is no political vendetta as claimed by the TD leaders. If it was so, the YSRC government would have done this long back and not now, when the term-end elections are approaching.”

“If Lokesh is to be arrested, it would be done in the national capital also,” he added.
