Two BRS contesting candidates visit polling booths with party Kanduvas, cast votes
Congress leaders raised objections to the leaders visiting booths wearing party Kanduvas as it means violation of model code of conduct
ADILABAD: BRS party contesting candidates Durgam Chinnaiah of Bellampalli and Allola Indrakaran Reddy of Nirmal reportedly went into the polling booths wearing party Kaduvas and cast their votes in their respective Assembly Constituencies on Thursday.
Congress leaders raised objections to these two leaders visiting polling booths wearing party Kanduvas which amounts to violation of model code of conduct.
However, the police and elections officials did not raise any objection to the BRS contesting candidates wearing polling booth wearing BRS party Kanduva. Congress and BJP leaders alleged that BRS party leaders also entered into polling booth premises with their bikes with the BRS party sticker in Asifabad.
