TD files complaint against Hindupur MP

Anantapur: TD politburo member Kalava Srinivasulu has lodged a complaint against Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav here on Monday over his controversial comments on TD chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu at a public meeting three days ago.

Gorntla Madhav’s statement that Naidu will die and Jagan Mohan Reddy will again assume charge as chief minister in 2024 sparked protests from TD leaders across the state.

Srinivasulu lodged the complaint at the fourth town police station in Anantapur, seeking criminal action against the Hindupur MP and also the main leaders of the YSRC “who already announced action to eliminate Chandrababu Naidu through criminal conspiracy, plan and even design to fulfill their goal.”

“It shows that the main leaders of the ruling party have targeted Chandrababu Naidu with political vendetta and revenge,” he said.

Gorantla Madhav said, in response, that Chandrababu Naidu should be alive to see Jagan as chief minister again and he should cry. “The FIR was registered by the police and Naidu was sent to remand by a court and not by Jagan Mohan Reddy.”
