After 3 days’ wait, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi allocates portfolios to ministers

Bhubaneswar: After three days of wait, ministers of the newly sworn-in BJP government in Odisha were on Saturday evening allotted portfolios by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi following approval by Governor Raghubar Das.

As per the release from Raj Bhawan, the CM has retained finance, home, general administration, information and public relations, water resources, planning and convergence, and any other department not specifically assigned so far.

Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo has been allotted agriculture and energy; while another Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has been allocated women and child development, Mission Shakti and tourism departments.
