Etala Rajendar Vows Development as BJP Wins 8 Telangana Seats

BJP's Etala Rajendar, elected in Malkajgiri, aims to push Congress to fulfil promises and secure more funds from the Modi-led NDA government

Hyderabad: The new BJP MPs have the twin objectives of forcing the Congress government in the state to fulfill its poll promises and get more funds from the Modi-led NDA government, said Etala Rajendar, who won the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat.

Speaking to media persons, Rajendar thanked the people for voting BJP candidates; they will play a key role in the state’s development, he said.

By winning eight out of 17 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP will continue its dominance in the state politics. Prime Minister Modi will form government at the Centre for the third time in a row. Modi in the last 10 years had reduced the difference between the rich and the poor and put a lot of focus on improving infrastructure in the state, Rajendar said.

He assured that he would work for improving roads in the Cantonment area, revive water tanks, provide employment to youth and get an industrial corridor within the constituency limits.

He thanked caste groups, Congress and BRS activists who voted for him and railway employees. He said people in the country have reposed confidence in Narendra Modi even after 10 years in power and it reflects how he worked for the nation in his tenure.
