Vijayawada: Family members of Rikitha, who died due to an alleged medical error at the MJ Naidu Super Speciality Hospital last week, met Vijayawada police commissioner P.H.D. Rama Krishna on Thursday.
The family members submitted a representation to the commissioner seeking justice for their daughter.
In the representation, they alleged that Rikitha (18) had died following a medical error committed by doctors at the MJ Naidu hospital. They demanded that police take stringent action against the doctors responsible for Rikitha’s death.
Rama Krishna told the victim’s family members that strict action will be taken against the hospital management if the post-mortem and DMHO’s reports indicate negligence of doctors at the hospital.
