Salman Khan Receives Rs 5 cr Death Threat
Mumbai: The Mumbai police has received yet another threat directed at actor Salman Khan. A WhatsApp message to the Mumbai Traffic Police, an unidentified sender has demanded Rs five crore from Khan to “end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi”.
An official from Mumbai police confirmed that the traffic control room on Thursday received the message threatening Khan with “worse than Baba Siddique. The message sent on traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline read, “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to payRs five crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”
The official said that the police has taken the matter very seriously and launched an investigation into it. A case has been registered at the Worli police station.
Baba Siddique (66), a Nationalist Congress Party leader and a former Maharashtra minister, was shot dead on October 12 night outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqu’s office in Bandra area of Mumbai.
