Spicejet Passengers Made to Wait Inside Aircraft Without AC For an Hour Amid Heatwave

Passengers travelling in a Spicejet flight from Delhi to Darbhanga had to wait inside an aircraft without air conditioning for over an hour amidst the heatwave in Delhi.
The incident took place in Spicejet SG 476. Several passengers reported feeling unwell.
A SpiceJet passenger said that the airlines did not switch on the AC for an hour.
"I was travelling from Delhi to Darbhanga (SG 476) from SpiceJet. At the Delhi airport after the check-in, they did not switch on the air-conditioning (AC) for an hour. The temperature inside (flight) was 40 degrees. The passengers were suffering. The air-conditioner (AC) was switched on when the flight took off...", SpiceJet passenger Rohan Kumar told news agency ANI.
