Exit Polls 2024: Polling for the seventh phase (final phase) of the Lok Sabha elections commences today. This polling will end at 6 pm. The Central Election Commission has kept a condition that the exit polls should be released after a gap of half an hour. Therefore, all the media organizations are waiting for the clock to strike sharp at 6:30 in the evening to release their exit poll figures.
This time the exit polls are intriguing in our Telugu speaking states. There are 2 reasons for this. Firstly, exit polls will come in connection with the assembly elections in AP. It is fascinating to see whether YCP will win again or the alliance will get a chance. Secondly, will the people give a positive verdict towards the Congress rule in Telangana. So all are keenly waiting for these exit polls.
Regarding the Lok Sabha elections, exit polls will be out for 543 seats. The magic figure in the election is 272 and also exit polls will be out for 175 assembly seats in AP. 88 is the magic mark in AP assembly. In 2019, YCP won 151 seats, TDP 23 seats and Jana Sena 1 seat. It will be enthralling to see the results this time.
However, the exit polls are not the final say. These numbers are based on forecasts and assumptions. As the organizations conducting these polls are acting in favor of some political parties. Hence, these results (Exit Polls) can’t be trusted. The same situation exists on TV channels. Therefore, these exit polls should be taken lightly. These cannot be considered final.
