Trusted Agencies Showed YSRC victory: YV on Exit Polls
Visakhapatnam: Regional coordinator of YSRC for north Andhra, YV Subba Reddy, has said “trusted” survey agencies showed impressive victory for the ruling YSRC in the exit polls released on Saturday evening.
Subba Reddy told the media on Sunday that it was natural for the national channels to show the victory of the NDA in their exit polls, which had nothing to do with the assembly polls.
“The YSRC will ring the victory bell in a few hours from when the counting takes place,’’ Subba Reddy said.
He said women, elderly persons and physically challenged persons showed their gratitude to chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by standing in queue from 7 am to 2pm on the polling day on May 13 under extreme heat conditions.
“They voted for the YSRC, hoping for the continuation of the welfare schemes,” he said. “It was in the rural areas where the women came in large numbers and stood, under scorching sun, to cast their votes.”
“It became a one -sided game. We may win most of the seats. Maybe above 150 assembly segments, like last time,’’ Subba Reddy claimed.
He cautioned the counting agents to wait till the last because the NDA activists might create trouble with the support of election officials.
