Uddhav Thackeray skips I.N.D.I.A. alliance key meet in New Delhi
Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray would be staying away from the I.N.D.I.A alliance meeting to be held in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Thackeray was supposed to attend the meeting in Delhi but at the last moment apparently decided to stay away from the meeting. On behalf of him, a three-member delegation led by the senior party leader Sanjay Raut would attend the crucial meeting of the I.N.D.I.A alliance.
Though the reasons behind Thackeray skipping the meeting were yet to be known, the party sources said that he would definitely attend such meetings to be convened by the alliance in future. Sources said Thackeray would leave for New Delhi only if necessary.
DMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, NCP founder Sharad Pawar, RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav and other prominent leaders were attending the meeting in the national capital.
