Visakhi Ekadasi Draws Devotees to Temples

Kakinada: Visakhi Ekadasi witnessed a surge in devotees thronging Shiva and Vishnu temples across Kakinada. Chants of "Om Namah Shivaya" and "Om Namo Narayanaya" filled the air as devotees performed abhishekams to Lord Shiva.The four famed Pancharama Kshetras – Bhimeswara Swamy temples in Draksharama and Samalkot, Soma Rama Someswara Swamy temple in Gunupudi, and Ksheera Ramalingeswara Swamy temple in Palakollu – experienced significant crowds.

Similarly, popular temples like Kukkuteswara Swamy Temple at Pithapuram, Someswara Swamy Temple at Kotipalli, Mukteswara Swamy Temple at Mukteswaram, and Veereswara Swamy temple at Muramanda saw a rise in devotees.

The renowned Hiranyagarbha Hari Hara Trimurthyatmaka Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Murthy temple in Annavaram was packed with devotees on the occasion of the deity's celestial marriage. While authorities cancelled "Antaralaya Darshanam" due to the large crowds, many devotees reached the hill temple early morning hoping to witness the ceremony.
