Visakhapatnam: Outgoing education minister Botsa Satyanarayana has said the YSRC government did well during the last five years and yet lost the elections.
Addressing a press conference in Vizianagaram on Thursday, Satyanarayana said social welfare scheme benefits reached all the eligible persons and development was taken up all over the state in the last five years. He hoped that the new government would continue with the work that was done by the YSRC government.
On the prospects of the new government, Satyanarayana said Chandrababu Naidu promised to fill 20,000 teacher posts by announcing a mega DSC and revoking the old pension system. “Let him do it. It will benefit the people,” he said.
