AP Digi-Tech Summit paves way for deep-tech innovation
Visakhapatnam: DeepTech Naipunya Foundation hosted the second day of AP Digital Technology Summit 2025 co-organised by the state government and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) on Thursday.
Building on the momentum of day one, the second day featured cutting-edge discussions across various sectors, including emerging technologies, drones, electronics, semiconductors, med-tech, and smart energy.
The summit aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a global hub for innovation, deep-tech skills and convergence.
Over 1,000 attendees attended the day two event, which featured more than 40 renowned speakers and thought leaders, 200 plus CXOs from leading companies, and 200 plus start-ups showcasing their innovations.
The day began with addresses by prominent figures, including union minister for civil aviation K. Ram Mohan Naidu, former union minister for IT, skills and entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar, founder CEO and ND of AMTZ Dr. Jithendra Sharma, STPI additional director Dr. Suresh Batha and APDTI (AP Digital Technology Industry) convener Sreedhar Kosaraju,
Rajeev Chandrasekhar delivered a compelling keynote on "Future of Electronics and Semiconductors," underlining India’s potential in becoming a semiconductor manufacturing and innovation leader. Dr. Jithendra Sharma shared insights on "Disruptive Innovation in Med-Tech," highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s role in advancing healthcare technology.
Expert panels delved into critical topics, such as Edge AI and Digital Twins, Wearable Tech in Healthcare, Energy 4.0, Quantum Computing, and Strategies for Scaling Deep-Tech Start-ups.
Deep-Tech Start-up Awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of start-ups that are redefining the digital technology landscape. Innovators got recognised across multiple categories for their contributions to the growth of Deep-Tech ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.
The summit provided extensive networking opportunities and facilitated collaborations among start-ups, investors, industry leaders and policymakers. It included closed-door discussions on investment strategies and partnerships for driving innovation in Andhra Pradesh.
